Menu - step 1 completed

Now Menus are really looking good, as you can see here:

This is a screen shot of WordWorth 7 running on the AROS wanderer screen.

The most difficult part of this menu integration were the menubars, as the are not detectable from the Intuition Menu structures. Simple things are not always simple.

Those menu's are looking great. They are coming along great. You have come along way in the past couple of days. How much more do you have to do on the menu's?

Excellent work!

Looking at that screenshot really gave the me the idea of a Amiga68k app running natively on AROS!

Yes And since Wordworth working is part of the bounty requisites I believe you're getting there!

Menu stuff should have one little snag just - some calls wouldn't use gadtools library, but the V1.x implementation of intuition menus...

Of course I believe that at low level and for what's important it makes no important difference...

Keep posting and make us happy watching Janus progress!!

@Merlin:

The hard part is to get the menu selection to the real amigaOS3 program. But I am working on that at the moment.

@Hardwired:

I don't touch amigaOS gadtools at all. I just use gadtools to create the AROS menus. On amigaOS I only access the intuition Menu/MenuItem structs. So it should not matter, if it is gadtools/MUI whatever.
